It Sucks!
April 30th, 2008
Since our apartment is fully carpeted, it takes more effort to do the vacuuming. The Philips brand that we are currently using was bought in Singapore and is not really suited for carpet cleaning. No matter how many times I drag the poor thing to and fro, I still see some dirt on the floor.
My friend who just bought this Dyson brand swears that well, it sucks! She has asthma and has seen better mornings (without the usual nose clogs) since they started using this.
When I got the chance to see this in their apartment, I noticed that it’s bagless! It is not as heavy as the one we have. But along with the cool features is the steep price! I should start scouting on ebay or tradingpost, there might be a good soul out there selling this beauty at a good price!

The Pinoy Groove
April 29th, 2008
With Madonna Decena and Charlie Green making big news in the Filipino communities all over the world, here in Australia we have Demi Sorono. Although she placed 4th in the recently concluded So You Think You Can Dance, she is still a star!
Indoor Garden
April 28th, 2008
You are looking at the future of gardening right there!
This UFO looking AeroGarden appliance here is perfect for growing little veggies in your very own kitchen. It comes in different styles and shades, too! The price is kind of steep though, 279AUD a piece!
But even if the price is right, I’d still choose to dirty my hands with real soil and get the satisfaction out of doing real gardening. I wonder if Better Homes and Gardens will feature this in their show?

I Dream of Plasma
April 25th, 2008
R and I have been dreaming of owning a huge plasma TV since we were still in Singapore. One thing that always holds us back from buying one is that we don’t have our own place yet. It will be hard to move a highly sensitive TV from one place to another.
Hopefully, in a few years’ time, when we have our own home, we’d be able to buy the HD Plasma TV of our dreams. I’m sure by then, Amelie would want to have an accompanying Wii to play with. Hee.
This Panasonic Viera HD TV is what I am dreaming of having in our future home. I can imagine its 42″ body sitting on the wooden TV bench in our entertainment room. There, we will also have our collection of DVD greats, a super comfy couch and a mini bar with snacks, soda and even ice cream! Sarap talaga mangarap!

A Perfect Cover for Your Laptops
April 24th, 2008
Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to surf the net while you’re sipping a fresh drink by the pool or on the beach without worrying about the sun’s glare?
This lapdome is just so cool! Maybe those photographers or videographers lugging their computers with them while on an outdoor shoot should have one of these.

How Observant Are You?
April 20th, 2008
I wonder why I didn’t make it close to 90%? Hmm.
You Are 72% Real |
![]() You know who you are, and you’re pretty darn comfortable with yourself. Like everyone, you struggle with the parts of yourself that aren’t so great… But you’re good at accepting who you are and not dwelling on your faults. As a result, you’re confident, optimistic, and very real. |

Who’s Your Hollywood Mom Match?
April 6th, 2008
I grabbed this Tickle test from Abie of myplanetpurple.com. I think we also have the same results. Tee hee.
Being a parent has never looked so classy! Understated and always tasteful, someone as timelessly chic as you isn’t easy to come by. So it makes sense that your Hollywood mom match would be the super-sweet and ever-elegant Reese Witherspoon. Sure, you still deal with spit up and changing diapers: The difference is that you manage to look good even when handling the basics of momhood. And beyond your poise and appearances you still shine with the knowledge that no matter what, family comes first and if you don’t have family you don’t have much.
Somehow, with a million things to juggle, you always make it look effortless. So even if you’re not from Hollywood, you can sure play the part. Now that’s a class act!
