Need an Energy Boost?

During my consulting days, my colleagues and I spent countless long working days in order to beat project deadlines. We learned to find ways to cope with stress and to keep awake during those late nights at work.

Some relied on energy drinks, others through smoking or snacking. I leaned on snacking and energy drinks to give me that energy boost. But how safe are these energy drinks? I cared less before about the ingredients used whether they have vitamins or are they just sugary drinks?

An energy drink called Cocaine is a beverage that promises to give an instantaneous “rush” minus the unsafe ingredients found in many other energy drinks in the market. It says on their website that this drink has Caffeine, Taurine, Guarana, Dextrose, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 & B12, and Inositol and no high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).

Two things I am not particularly inclined to like about Cocaine energy drink is the use of the word cocaine, which I’m sure, is plainly a marketing gimmick. The second is the packaging. They could’ve done better not using the red and white colors that represent a popular fizzy drink.

Other than that, I think this product will make it big considering that it is ‘safer’ for consumption than its competitors.

Does the packaging remind you of another popular product? 🙂
