A Turning Point

May 16th, 2010

I admit that I was once was so conscious about my post-pregnancy figure but the busyness in my day to day life helped me keep my focus on the things that I need to get done.  But last Saturday afternoon, it took just one glance in the mirror to remind me that I need to lose my jelly belly.  It looked like I ate a hundred muffins in one sitting! Arrgh. I still prefer to lose it the natural way, with a healthy diet plus exercise, and I hope that will eventually bring back my flat stomach.  Because I never want to have to use apidexin or diet pills.

Goodbye LCD, Hello LED

May 14th, 2010

Our old Samsung LCD TV has finally been demoted and is now moved from the living room to our bedroom.  It served us well for the past three years and its power button started acting up lately.  But apart from that we liked every thing about it so we thought we’d buy another TV of the same brand.  Well, it turned out we liked another brand and so far we have no regrets.

My Mini Home Project

May 11th, 2010

I am working on a mini-project for our apartment that involves a major spring cleaning, putting up photo frames or canvasses on our bedroom walls and replacing some of our existing furniture.  Most of the stuff in our apartment has been with us for more than five years and it will be nice to give our house a bit of a refreshing change.  Our workstation needs a new computer table and shelf, small office furniture pieces that will fit in a small space.  I’m asking around also for reliable printers for a few family photos I want on canvass.  I hope I get to finish them all before the year ends.

A Good Habit

May 11th, 2010

I’m not sure how it started but my 3 year old, who previously dislikes taking vitamins and medicines, is now liking the idea of taking vitamins every day.  Often than not, she is the one who reminds us to give her either her chewable vitamin or the syrup version.  Of course, this is a good habit that we always encourage her to keep.  Ah kids, they really do amazing and amusing things.
