A Freebie

June 25th, 2010

We received a notice a few days ago stating that our free game console (not sure if it’s xbox 360 or ps3) is ready for pick-up from the AU post.  We were a bit skeptical when we were offered a free console when we bought our LED TV but with notice, we are excited to play with it!  I hope it comes with free games, too.

We All Need a Break

June 25th, 2010

Time surely flies fast.  It’s almost the end of June and in less than six months, we will be flying to Manila for our annual trip home.  In the coming years though, we are planning to spend major holidays elsewhere.  We have Japan, the US (organize a Branson vacation perhaps?), nearby New Zealand and Europe in our list of must-see places.  Yes, we live for family holidays and needless to say, we are looking forward to see all those places!

Getting Better By the Day

June 4th, 2010

Even if my baby still wakes up 2 to 3 times through the night, I can feel that I’m slowly getting a bit of me time at home, which of course is at night time.  It’s because I’m no longer tied down to every hour, by the hour feeding.  No longer challenged to put him to sleep at night.  So as soon as I’m done with dinner, done with evening chores and have taken my vitamin supplements, I prepare my baby to sleep.  An hour later, I would kick back and get a bit of relaxation before I’m done for the day.

To a Fault

June 4th, 2010

There’s just too much pressure on women to achieve a thin frame.  What with all the print and TV promotions conditioning our minds to do so.  Of course, this is not possible given that we all have different body types but others go the extreme and opt to go through expensive and risky surgery or take popular weight loss pills without really knowing if there are side effects (so better check reviews such as hydroxycut review).  I hope I won’t get to that point (or age) where I’ll be too conscious about my looks to a fault.

Elusive Sleep

June 2nd, 2010

I am on my way to full recovery from last weeks sinusitis attack.   Thanks to our doctor who recommended strong medication that quickly put me back on my feet.  But the past nights, I still had headache episodes and at first I thought that it was my sinusitis again then I realize that I haven’t been clocking a good enough time to sleep.  By the time I finish my chores and my me-time (read as: internet time) at night, my little boy’s already awake for a feed and it goes on until the following morning.  Yes, wrinkles are becoming pretty obvious on my face and soon I’ll be searching the internet for prototype 37-c reviews and such.  But I hope my sleeping schedule improves soon, really soon.
